Before you start, gather
First check that the text is public or non-sensitive. Paste only public text into [PASTE NON-SENSITIVE TEXT HERE]. Set [READING LEVEL] from your audience, such as 6th grade. Afterward, compare the result with the original, especially dates and eligibility.

What it might get wrong
An eligibility rule or deadline softened into a friendlier sentence. A legal term swapped for a word with a different meaning. A condition dropped to keep sentences short.
