Pick [SKILLS] from the real job description and what the role needs in its first six months. Use only the [JOB TITLE] name. Afterward, have HR or your employment advisor review the questions and scoring guide.
Starter prompt

Do not include questions about protected characteristics. Do not state that any question is legally allowed or required in a given state; write HR CHECK instead of guessing.
Paste the prompt into your AI tool first, then replace the placeholders with your own details. Don't use real names of clients or donors.

Review the questions for fairness and legality, and ask every candidate the same core questions.
What it might get wrong
A question that drifts toward a protected trait. A scoring guide that rewards polish over ability. A claim that a particular question is legal in your state.
