Donor and supporter relations
Create a donor survey
Drafts short, clear questions to learn why supporters give and what they want to hear.
Lower risk: public info only — Write the questions only; don't paste responses that include names.
Please note: This site is only a guide to help people understand. Consult your IT, security and/or privacy department for clarification.
Before you start, gather
List [CHANNELS PROGRAMS AND EVENTS] from your newsletter list, program pages and event calendar for [ORGANIZATION NAME]. That way, answer choices match what donors can actually pick.
Starter prompt
Write a donor survey with 10 questions for [ORGANIZATION NAME]. Goals: learn why people give, how they like to hear from us, and what would make them give more. Use these real options for answer choices: [CHANNELS PROGRAMS AND EVENTS]. Mix multiple choice and two open-ended questions. Keep it under 5 minutes to complete and include a short intro and thank-you. Only offer answer choices for things we really do. If you are unsure, write MISSING INFO instead of guessing.
Paste the prompt into your AI tool first, then replace the placeholders with your own details. Don't use real names of clients or donors.
